Accidents can happen unexpectedly and can be costly, so it’s important to protect you and your family from off-the-job accidents. While your medical coverage will help pay for some expenses associated with your injury, it generally won’t cover all of your out-of-pocket expenses. Accident insurance can provide the financial protection you need with benefits to help cover the costs for accidental injuries and out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Critical Illness Insurance
Critical Illness coverage can ease the financial impact of a serious illness—such as cancer or a heart attack—with a lump- sum benefit to spend however you see fit. If you participate in a CDHP, Critical Illness benefits can help you cover medical costs that you may otherwise need to pay out of pocket because of the higher plan deductible.Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Being unprepared for a hospital stay can be financially difficult. Hospital indemnity insurance can offer peace of mind when hospitalization occurs from an unexpected sickness or injury. The benefit pays predetermined amounts for covered hospital confinements, with partial benefits for well-baby newborn hospitalization, observation unit and admissions due to substance abuse or mental disorders.
